"The glory of God is a human being fully alive" - St. Irenaeus
Discover the beauty, goodness, and truth of Catholicism.
Fully Alive explores the intellectual and emotional depths of the faith.
Much Christian commentary focuses on the surface warm fuzzies of belief. Fully Alive takes a different, more thoughtful approach, bringing in history, philosophy, literature, and more. Big ideas are related in a simple, relevant way for the common person.
We have released many articles on a variety of topics. Check out our article archive and daily Lenten reflections from 2019.

Thanks for reading our daily Lenten Scriptural Commentary Series!

Our 2019 Lenten Scriptural Commentary Series, which featured daily articles every day in Lent, was a huge hit! Thank you so much for reading them and supporting us.
Introducing our latest series: daily Lenten Scriptural Commentary articles
3/6/19
We're doing something very special for Lent: releasing daily Lenten Scriptural Commentary articles! We hope that they help Christians get more out of Lent by taking God’s word seriously. Mostly avoiding personal stories and anecdotes, our commentary dives deeply into the scripture readings for each day and applies them to the broader context of Lent. We use the daily Mass readings from the Catholic lectionary.
Celebrating the memorial of our patron, St. Frances de Sales, with big news
1/24/19
Since our re-launch at the beginning of the year, we've had a lot of fun posting content on Twitter and interacting with our fans.
We're excited to announce our first project of the year: daily tweets reflecting on the Catholic daily Mass readings! They give an overview of the entire Bible in a three-year rotation. The short reflections, which will only be featured on Twitter, are an ideal way to spend a moment every day thinking about God's word. We're excited to take this journey with you!
